 Hayley was always patient, kind and understanding. I always felt we had time to go over things that hadn’t quite clicked or that I struggled with. Hayley was always so supportive of me and it made carrying on feel possible even after making (what I had thought) were big mistakes. I was a nervous Learner and Hayley made me believe “I can do this”. All lessons were planned, structured and fun with the challenges and games we did helping my learning too. Hayley always wrote up and sent me a copy of what we’d achieved that day and we discussed the next areas of improvement before each lesson end. My favourite part of lessons was safely learning in the knowledge if something went wrong Hayley was there to guide me how to improve and always with encouragement. I enjoyed the Mini and Hayley was happy to change lessons to be in my car as I wanted to feel safe in mine and I took the Test in my car instead too. Hayley is the most patient, clear and adaptable instructor. She takes the time to understand how each individual student thinks. A skill in teaching I think is vital in learning to drive, yet a skill hard to find. I started off scared of driving but Hayley made it fun and easy. I thought Hayley was a friendly, patient and motivated instructor. I really appreciated her kindness and great humour which made a super atmosphere. Mickey Mouse Mini was the perfect size car to learn in. I loved it! All Hayley’s lesson planning followed a transparent structure with her recording my progression of all skills from attempts to full independent driving. I couldn’t have asked for a better Driving Instructor than Hayley. As someone who was very nervous about starting to drive, she put me at ease straight away with her kind and considerate nature. Each step of the learning process was extremely well planned and Hayley was constantly adapting each part of the learning journey so it focussed on the right tuition at the right time. We would go through in detail at the end of each lesson what went well, what required improvement and what we planned to do in the next lesson. When I first started my lessons I had zero confidence and didn’t have a clue what to do. Hayley was so patient and understanding with me. She always believed in me and encouraged me to do my best. Hayley has a relaxed and personable teaching style alongside a detailed learning plan which leaves you well prepared for passing your practical test but also for life on the road once you have qualified. Hayley quickly identifies areas that need additional work/ attention but is also a good judge of progress made and therefore time is not wasted repeating parts of lesson plans unnecessarily. The mock tests are invaluable preparation. Hayley also provided fantastic assistance with management of Test booking and rearranging for an earlier date. I recently had an accident. Hayley spent time driving with me in my own car. She made me feel safe and relaxed. I’m over 80 and she reassured me this wasn’t for a test but to re-establish I had full awareness, understanding reaction times are longer the older we get.
