THEORY TESTS

You are not able to extend a theory pass certificate that is due to expire. However, you can retake your theory test up to 6 months before your certificate expires which would therefore give you ample time to learn the practical side of driving. You are able to take your theory test before you have found an Instructor and this theory knowledge will then actually help with your practical driving too.

Discuss all options with your instructor regarding the best date for your practical test. By liasing with them you will ensure you are test ready and that they aren’t booked to take another student to test at the same time as you.
